As we continue into Fall 2025, I’m excited to share the latest news and updates from Pivot Riverside. This issue highlights some new programs, improvements, and people who make our school’s community strong.
In this newsletter, you’ll read about the new arts programming available to Riverside students and opportunities to receive college credits for arts classes! You’ll also have the chance to learn more about Hunter Stapko, a thriving Pivot student, as well as our incredible new Director of Special Education, Carol Castro Ballard, who is innovating our Special Education program with leadership and dedication.
This semester, we have already seen meaningful growth in our students both academically and personally. Our ongoing partnerships with local institutions continue to provide valuable opportunities that support our students’ academic and career pathways. These connections help enhance the resources available to our community and strengthen the support network around our students.
At Pivot, academics are a core element of what we do, but we also know that student success is shaped by more than grades alone. That’s why we work to foster a supportive environment where students grow as learners and as individuals, building confidence and a sense of responsibility to their community. In this newsletter, you’ll see how our values are showing up in real, meaningful ways throughout our schools.
If Pivot Riverside has made a positive impact on your family, I invite you to share your story with me and with your community! Your experiences help us reach more students who can benefit from our flexible and caring approach to education.
Thank you for being a valued part of our school community.
