Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Concurrent enrollment allows high school students to take college courses while still enrolled in high school. It provides an opportunity to experience college-level coursework, explore various academic interests and potentially reduce the time and cost of earning a college degree after high school graduation.
Dual enrollment refers to a program where students are enrolled in both Pivot Charter School and a partner college or university at the same time. This program enables students to earn credits that count towards both their high school diploma and a college degree. Dual enrollment is designed to offer advanced learning opportunities, help students transition smoothly to college and may provide financial benefits, as tuition and fees for these courses are often reduced or covered.
Guaranteed admission is a program offered by Pivot Charter School in partnership with participating colleges and universities. It ensures that students who meet specific academic criteria will be automatically accepted into participating institutions.
